Maybe I'm wrong but from the pics I've seen so far it looks like the event was a flop, spectator wise ...
I expected to see thousands of off-road, car crazy Mexicans.
I've seen more people at a local RockGarden event!
Did they charge too high admission fee or what? :confused:
And with all the scoring confusion, I'll bet Dan Brown can't too happy ...

No one is suppose to get paid for 7 to 10 days. My liver tells me to never go back but who knows. It was a big party. The crowds weren't that big on Saturday but on Sunday I have never seen so many people. It was huge. We all spent a lot more money than expected but it was fun and an actual vacation too. I'll try to get some more pictures on later. I think Lance has a few pics too but he's been sick in Mexico and at the doctors for the past two days.

is lance sick sick ? or just peeing out his butt sick ?

Have any of you actually been to Mexico before? I have never heard of so many big and hearty guys getting "Montezuma's Revenge".

Actually, I got some off the wall infection in my ASS, and had it lanced out yesterday. Recovering from the pain still, and then I will be driving home in the next day or two. Ouch.... :(

RJ pegged it. It was a fawking BLAST. To those who didn't go, you missed the funnest event by far times 10! There were thousands of spectators on Sunday. Rivaling Supercrawl's crowds. The Mexican people absolutlely LOVED the rock crawlers, and went nuts. It was GREAT. As far as payout, etc. We will see how it goes. The score cards are all screwed up, so they are still working on it. We do know that Tracy Jordan came in first.

The market has definitely been established....I can't wait till the next event in Mexico! :beer:

Been down there a lot... Absolutely forget the water, but most of the beers are o.k. Looks like a good time. Shakes up some good old memories!

I think Lance did get it from the water. We went to the beach and Lance the athletic guy he is decided to body surf. To make long story short Mother Nature kicked his ass. He had a bruise on his ass that took up one cheek and sand coming out of places it shouldn't. HA! HA! The event had some flaws but every time I went to a first event it always had its problems. I hope more people got pictures. Who ever took that pic of me tweaked out I would love to get the neg so I can make some copies.

Looked fun. How many people went down there?

What kind of hassles did you all have transporting rigs across the border and back? My cousin and two buddies went down there, got their insurance and all that jazz with no problems, and on the way back in, they stopped him, and DESTROYED his rig. Cut all the tires open, dumped all his gear, punched holes in the gas tanks/cans, tore the dash open, seats, you name it, it got searched in a mean sorta way. Then the were oin o have him arrested or some crap if he didn't get his "abandoned vehicle" out of their site! They had no trailers, no tow rigs, just two Toyotas! And they drove there from Nebraska!

No one had any problems down there to say. We drove our rigs all around the streets even at night when had no lights w/ no problems. A couple of guys got some stuff stolen. I think most trouble down there is self inflicted.

They must have run there mouths then. If you are yes sir no sir they dont bother you, If your any kind of smart ass, all your ass belongs to them...

They took my buddy in Cancun out to the middle of no where, took all his cloths and money and left him. He walked to a road and got a cab to take him to our hotel then we paid the cabby lol. All this for banging a chick on the beach.
