alright i have just read the post on the 85' but i know how much they changed things in these years so was wandering if someone can tell me what tranny came in the bronco with 302 with an auto trany and the ford 9 in. rearend. i think it is a C6 but not real sure.i am hopefully buying this truck this friday and wanted to know what tranny and t-case it had.

Could be a C^ or AOD, should have a 1345 case, why dont you crawl inder it and look?:rolleyes:

there are a couple of reasons why i don't crawl under and look 1 it's 0 degrees out here and 2 i am new to the ford fullsize line so i would be looking at tranny's and t cases i don't know what they are. if i knew i would crawl under there but i think i would be getting cold and wet for no reason.

If it isn't an AOD then it's most likely a C6 and an NP208.:)

The 1345 I am running now came from a 85 with a C6......

thanx i was hoping someone could tell what they are. i wasn't sure cause they did alot of changing i those years so wasn't sure just going by what people have told me.

If you want too be positive what tranny you have look at this link

and compare it too yours. As for transfercase stock it should haave a np208.
Another way too tell on the tranny is to look on the shifter column a C6 will read P R N D 2 1 an AOD will Read P R N OD 2 1
