vehicle has 140 thousand miles.

I got the front left spindle off buy removeing all parts and bolts then grinding my ball joint puller
to fit around out side of spindle then installing
both spindle nuts and pulling against them.
my puller was centered on the spud shaft.

I will be doing the other side next weak and I am looking for sugestions on a better method

block-o-wood + BFH
1)place the block-o-wood against the spindle(to prevent damaging threads)
2)wack with BFH
3)swap sides
4)return to step #1 & repeat
Some times once it gets a lil cockeyed ya stick a screwdriver or chisel into the crack while you bump the other side(prevents spindle from slippin back to were it was).

Or you can get a spindle puller that threads onto the spindle and works with a slide hammer.

I've done 75 to 100 the hammer way and wont waste money on the puller. Altho some guys swear by the puller.
