I just filled up my 435 with gear lube, and I noticed it leaking out the back running down the AA adapter for my 300. I was curious, is that suppose to happen, or should it be completly sealed(which seems to me it should be) I have the seal in place in the adparter, just had all the bearings and seals replaced, maybe they forgot one. Which Side of the Adapter! transfer case Side Or tranny Side??? ther Are 2 Seal's 1 Internal Shaft Oil seal in the Adapter that rides on the Shaft Of the 300,, And the One that Mates to you'r Tranny And Adapter it is a Paper Seal And Permatex

It,s running down the back of the adapter, where the 300 will bolt up to it, so is the seal the the shaft runs on not sealing proper?? If so, what should I do to correct it. I haven't taken the adpater off yet, will tomorrow morning. Did both seals fail possibly??

Did You put the transfer case To the adapter

or did they??
Check the Bolt' s see If they Are tight!!

Sound Like The Shaft seal?? or the Round paper Gasket!!! Oh yeah That's the 3rd Seal Sorry I forgot Round one that Goes around the Adapter and Seals the Transfer case to the Adapter! this Also Need's Permatex

I don't have the 300 on it right now, I know the paper type gaskset on the tranny/adapter is good, it's running through the adapter and down....I'll let it drain down, bolt the 300 on, and refill....and not worry about it. <IMG SRC="smilies/thefinger.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/thefinger.gif" border="0">
