Sorry about posting my intro outside of newbie. I somehow messed that up. Anyhow, I am about to order a HD SYE kit from Tom Wood's. Can someone please help with some prelim. issues.

1) I am told I need to take a measurement for the driveshaft.Can someone tell me exactly where that should be?

2) will this definitely eliminate my vibes i am experienceing in first gear? They bug the crap out of me. The transfer case is down 3/4". I am thinking of pulling that and putting in my 1" motor mounts.

3)How do i set the angles of the shaft/ pinon? Someone said cam bolts, where do I get these? Someone also mentioned control arms, lower or upper and what do these do exactly?

I would recommend searching the archives, this has come up before.

Also i hav eheard that thcam bolts tend to move around??? go with the SYE t shold fix your probs also how much lift, and you will nead rear upper control arms to set the pinion angle(in case u didn't know)
