It's gotta be in the mail, or made available to you by 1/31/2003.

Unfortunately, if the lazy Bastids™ don't get it done by then, the IRS probably won't lift a finger, but you can always hope that THEY don't know that!

It's the last day of the first month of the year. I think that's how they word it.

Like mentioned above, it can either be post marked or "availible" to you on or before that day.

My job?? This friday, the 31st is a pay day, so the lazy M-F'ers are waiting till friday to hand em out. Assholes. I even have my fawking interest statements from the mortgage company already. But what else could expect from a place that hasn't put the cost of living increase into the employees paychecks, even though it was effective July 1 2002.

That means it should be retroactive to July 1 when they do put it in. They will have to cut you a fatty check.

oh yeah, I know this. But that means that I get a big fatty check with almost 6 months (if they do it this week, which I doubt) worth of my raise. Which I ain't complaining about, BUT that drops my into a very different tax bracket and I lose even more out of it to the fawking "help the poor stay poor" government. :flipoff: bastards!! It's the man, the man keeping me down.

DOH!!! I hate when that happens. It prolly puts you in the bottom of that bracket too, huh?

oh I am sure it does. Oh well I will just have to change my W4 form before they write the check that week. Sure I have 9 dependants.

hey guys i have a random question...

i need to tie up my taxes from last year, which i got an indefinite extension on.

im having one hell of a time getting my w2 from home depot, who i worked for last year.
ive sent two letters and called thrice, and i just get the "oh sure well make arrangements to get it to you" bs repsonse.

i need the thing, and id like to light a fire under their asses and get it done, anyone have suggestions?

Do you have your last pay stub from Home Depot, you can use that in place of a W2. Since you have an indefinite extension I take the IRS owes you money. ;)
