Spring Perches/ shock mounts for the 8.8????

Any one make there own spring perch’s? Seems like all you need is some ¼” thick 2” box tubing and cut a 3 ¼ curve into it and you have a perch. Any one have any good ideas for shock mounts? I want to keep it the same type of set up as on my rear now.

Yes, you can do that for perches. For shock mounts weld two tabs to the axle the width you need. Drill holes.

Dont use c channel for perches. It flexes too much.

I sell both they're pretty cheap. For as much time as it takes me I just buy prefabbed ones. Phone numbers in my link, or starting in the next day or so you should be able to click on an add at the top of the page.

you didnt say what kind of jeep u have but the spring perches on an 8.8 are only 1/2" differant than a YJ...
