I didn't like windows 2k so I formated my HD and precede to install windows 98 (2nd edition) again. Well it all goes fine but I CANNOT get my computer out of 640 x 480 or out of 256 colors. I have downloaded correct drivers for my video card and its STILL NOT WORKING. I can change the slider for a bigger resolution but it tells me to restart. Which I do and its still in 640 x 480. This is the same with 256 color mode.

So does anybody have any FAWKIN suggestions because I'm supposed to get this website done and I can't with my sh!tty ass computer all fawked up. :(

I have the exact same problem with mine. I did the same thing you did, reloaded win92 2nd edition.
Mine's still screwed up, so if you find a solution, please let me know.
I'm a computer moron, and don't want to screw it up any more.

Are you SURE you installed the driver correctly? Did you actually READ any readme or faq files? If so, did you actually DO what they said?

Go download it from another source, try it again.

The real reason it won't work is because computers can tell when people have a close deadline :D

Yea but it was pissing me off so I thought I would go and install 98. Now that I think bout it I DON THAVE THE WIN2K CD. I can get an XP CD although I've heard it sucks....

This is starting to piss me off! :eek:

In 256 color mode the :eek: looks like a ghost cuz its WHITE. what the fawk.
