Well ive had 35 inch boggers for almost 2 years now and they are worn down and its time for new ones. So ive decided to go with 37x13 Boggers, but since boggers really need to be aired down to 4-5 PSI to work well, and im sick of breaking beads, i think its time for beadlocks.
So my question is, what beadlocks do you guys recommend?
I have thought about champion, but they are a little pricey for me.
So i looked into MTR 18 and 36 bolt and Eaton 16 bolt steel beadlocks. Any sugestions???
Plus, i will have to drive them to the trails. Any problems with that? I dont care that they arent DOT aproved, but is it safe. I can check all the bolts for proper torque specifications, but will they be ok for 2-3 hour drives.

I run 36 bolt MRT beadlocks and im very happy with them... the occasional leaky tire but thats a characteristic of all beadlocks. Other than that they work great, built tough, and love abuse.. :trooper:

I bought some Bart Bealocks made for circle track racing, they work great, have 16 bolts and unlike some i have seen, actually have a ring on the wheel to help center the tire.... I got all four of mine for $250 slightly used, so if you guys have a local circle track scene, you might wanna check with some of their suppliers to see what kind of prices they can get on beadlocks... Our bolt patterns are very common, so we have plenty of options... Never had a leak so far, and after a year of daily driving, i still have had no problems with Johny Law...

Someday you might learn that dumbass. I drove my jeep on swampers and stayed in a tent for many years in the mountains. I now tow the jeep on a trailer and drive my f 350 cc with a camper on the back. I no longer worry about having to take it easy on the jeep because I only have to get it back to camp, not the three hour drive to the city. When it is pouring rain or snowing and you are sleeping in you vehicle or tent think of me.:flipoff2:
