ok i know its a gay question but i need sum info on what a
1983 ford 1 ton srw 4x4 would have under it..
its got 460 auto (i think c6) and case probally 205?
any one know what im lookin at in this truck..?
ive found a goooood price i think. and im just wondering if its worth messin with.. thanks..

Twin Traction Beam front Dana 50. "Should " be a Borg Warner 1345 transfer case, possibly a np208, but I doubt it.

sorry, wrong. One tons didnt get the solid 60 until 85 1/2 or so.

No sir, Liliysdad is right - TTB D50.
Ford did not use a solid axle front from 80 - 86 if I remember correctly. The truck probably has a rear D60 as well. These trucks do wear the 1 ton badging but they are not what you would expect to be getting.

bit of a haul for you, but there's a rough 78 Ferd 1-ton with a plow here in NJ for $1600 that the guy can't seem to sell.

do u know if its auto.. or not.. what motor.. etc.. can ya give me sum quick info.. on it .. im actualyl gonna be in jeresy either monday -tuesday of next week.. or sat sunday.. not sure yet. so any info would help me out alot thnaks..
