: using cherokee front drive shaft as YJ rear?

has anyone ever done this or are doing it, how is it working, any problems? I may be looking at it, just looking for feedback

I took my old TJ front shaft and had it cut down to use as a rear trail spare. Pretty cheap way to do either a rear d/s or a spare d/s.

I run a 96 XJ front CV shaft in the rear of my YJ It works great. Just had it cut to length and put it in.

after you have it shortened it should work fine.
