Which pitman will provide me with the correct drop for an SOA?

I use a pitman off of a waggy. I think it was around 6"

the whole deal is to get the pitman/tre/nut as close to the frame rail as possible.

otherwise during driverside compresion, your tie rod will hit you pitman and/or sector nut.

even with it close to the frame, you may still have to make extended bump stops t prevent contact ( I did)

fc is exactly right...the heim bolt on my pitman swings to tight to the frame that I had to trim a rivet for clearance.

My pitman is off a Camaro. "Most" Saginaw pitmans will fit, however there are many varying drops and lengths to experiment with. And, since no two individuals likely have the EXACT same angle of installation on the PS box, what worked for one may not work for you.
