I am putting coils on the rear of my Toyota truck and i am using a set of stock 94' XJ springs. I am needing to know the length of the spring when it is compressed on a XJ. Not completely compressed but at normal ride height. Thanks

It'll be hard to find someone that still has stock coils on this board.

If I could find a @#)(*&#@$(* tape measure... I do have a stock set on our XJ, but then we don't wheel it like I do the other Jeeps!

I would really like to run a lifted set of XJ springs but these were free. I know that the rear of my truck will not compress them as much, but i would like an idea of how they are on a cherokee. The rear of my truck consists of a tube frame with a 16 gallon fuel cell, 36" spare, battery, and about a 150 lbs of tools and spare parts. I think it will be comparable to the weight of a front XJ. Thanks

Robotoy, the xj coils are very soft. Of course I'm sure that is what you want. I don't understand why you want lift spring though. The factory springs are actually longer. On the lift springs they just use a thicker wire = more spring rate more lift. But I think the factory spring will FLEX better. Just a newbie's opinion.

??? This makes no sense, I know for a FACT that my lift springs are taller then the stockers....not to mention softer.
