Alright dumb noob post here... but what's so wrong about 18's as in that thread? I'm sure the same crap came out when people first ran 16's, then 17's and 20's. But hey, those are all accepted wheel sizes now. Seems to me so long as you can get a good tire to mount on that rim, cool... you've got extra brake clearance and most likely a stronge sidewall from having more rim and less rubba. Then again I'm just a noob.. so my thoughts are just useless ramblings.....

For $25K you can get a BMW M3 coupe, with probably 50K on the clock, and a few bucks left over for mods. THAT'S class and performance. It's not "nail you into the seat" performance but it will outperform most everything on the street (except for a few new models). It won't drag very well (no replacement for displacement) against a C5, but what kind of dipshit would drag a BMW anyhow?

BTW - for $20K you can buy a BMW 850CSi from 93-96. Another $5K in mods (an exhaust and chip) and YOU'RE FLYING. My buddy has a 93 with 5/AT and 400HP that is scary fast.
