: Need help from you PBB'ers
Found a box of Duralast brake pads in the garage. Brand new still in the box, but no CLUE what they are for. Hoping to sell them on eBay, but it would be nice to know what they are for first :p
Duralast, part #MKD385
All I have found so far is this, but still no clue what they fit

Anyone know how to reverse-searech and find this out?
I *thought* they might have been for one of the vehicles we have had...
1995 Bronco
1995 Explorer (F or R)
No go on those so far...
I am trying to remember other possible ones, but was wondering if someone knows a faster way.... thanks!

Motornoggin 02-10-2003, 06:15 PM Those appear to be a Chrysler/Jeep part. It would help if I could see the other side though.
That Mick 02-10-2003, 06:19 PM David, they are pads to a 82-88 AMC Eagle.
Not sure what they cross over too, but Jeep D30 comes to mind...

Dang, I was close.
Apparently Autozone carries them.\
Edit: They made Eagles in 88?!?!?!?
That Mick 02-10-2003, 06:28 PM Made in 87, sold in 88.
I dunno if AZ sells them or not. I ID'd them by looking at the cores I just took off.
Odd.... Real odd. Eagle you say?
The back side of the smaller ones have a rather extensive and large clip system.
Maybe it was for the 30 front one one of my CJ5's?
That Mick 02-10-2003, 06:44 PM CJ5 would make sense. Not sure about the clips, but the size and shape is a match.

All I'm saying is they appear to match the pads I took off yesterday. It wouldn't suprise me if they used similar brakes, AMC designed and built the Eagle on a 2 buck buget.
Just Some Asshole 02-11-2003, 05:40 AM Those are Ford truck pads, will fit most Full size Fords from 82 to 96 and

I was using the search up top, never scrolled down to try that one... got it now....
But mine shows they fit a 1996 Bronco, and $2 cheaper than what he found above
Satan's_Minion 02-11-2003, 09:36 AM FYI all brake part manufactures use the same pad numbers, so a 385 in Wagner is a 385 in Raybestos, etc, etc. Some pads will have a different clip setup on the same pad number and the way that is conveyed varies, but for most the # will get you the correct size. Everyone has there own lettering system to tell you if it is a organic/semi-metalic/ceramic/etc so you have to know that by brand. :)
