I am looking for a set of steel, 15X10, 3" BS, 8-lug beadlocks for my YJ. I like MRT's and was wondering who has the best deals on them? Also, I am running 38.5" SX; are the 36-bolt ones totally necessary?
I have also looked into Bart as well, any opinions? Just heard about Rockstomper.com's locks, need to give him a ring in the morning. Any other beadlock manufacturer suggestions? Champions are a bit too high for me. Not really interested in making my own. Looking for the best prices.

Eaton also makes beadlocks. No clue on the quality though.

Cochese, if you find the wheels you want (we're not a custom wheel dealer, so we can't get deals on 'em) and tell us where to buy 'em, we'll put our locks on for $100 per wheel, so you're paying $100 + wheel cost per. You pick the wheels and tell us who's got 'em, we'll bring 'em here, put the locks on, and ship 'em to you, all you have to do, is tell us whose wheels you want. No welding or whatever, just put your tires on and go play. And no, we won't mark the wheels up for doing that; our cost is your cost.

Keep in mind, if you do that, that our locks widen the wheels by approximately two inches, so you can pick wheels that are 2" narrower (and probably a few bucks cheaper) than what you want to end up with. Give me a call at the shop if you'd like more info, too.

I bought mine directly from MRT. It was the best price I was able to find anywhere for beadlocks at the time. That was about a year and a half ago. they were pretty cool. I really like their outer rings better than most I have seen.

I just got a set made by Stockton Wheel. They're not the cheapest, but they're seriously strong and I think they'll hold up to just about anything. Another plus is their ring has a ridge to center the tire on the wheel so you don't get it off-center and wobbly.

I JUST got my 16.5 x 10" Trail-Ready rims (www.trailready.com) in the mail...$239ea (20 bolt). The build quality is oustanding, and the rings are bitchin'. I especially like the fact that the clamp ring bolt holes are counter-sunk to (help) keep the bolt head from grinding away. I'll letcha' know when my 42's arrive and get mounted, and when they (finally) get beta-tested...So far I haven't heard any complaints about performance/strenght issues.

I am very happy with my Trailready's. Extremly good Quality and even without running any sort of whel weights my 38" sx's don't vibrate much at all!!!

Be carefull with the Eatons. The outer rim bends easily...
