Pat,
Check the sammi part of my website. RokZuki is going to be for sale soon. I know you are probably looking for a stocker to build, but here is a runner! ;)

bilstein is coming out with a lower priced "rockcrawler" coilover and doestech has less expensive line of pre runner coilovers.

btw i am using doestech, but have not had them out on the trail yet so i don't have any tech to share on them yet.

What was the cost on the DT's? Is there a large price difference?

Well, I should have my four 2.5" King's arrive via UPS tomorrow...14" tripple rate (90/280/350 front) and (90/280/450) rear. Cost...Well, a bit more than 2" sway's...$560/corner.:barf:

Service was excellent btw...Re-valving free, springs are exchangeable (within reason) etc...

explain to me why you need triple rate shocks on a rock crawler. I can understand double, but triple?

anyway, ive had good luck with Sways as well.. good priced

Well, the idea with the tripple is that the top coil (90lb/5") is for drop-out only...It will be in complete spring-bind while static (obviously). I went this way because I wanted to have the ability to dial in (adjust) ride height/balance without having to deal with a spring dropping out (potentially) during full droop. And yea, I know they can be dialed in nicely w/o a drop coil, but I want FULL adjustablilty w/o having to swap coils to change ride height...Lower in Farmington, higher in Cruses, desert romping, etc, etc...It was "only" a $45/shock option through King...And it does have a :smokin: factor.

so.. when the rig is flat, or under compression, the top spring is COMPLETELY comressed, in effect a spacer?.. and under full droop, it "opens up" to keep pressure on the lower springs?

did you at least get them different colors so its :rainbow: ??

hehe.. as long as it doesnt limit compression having that extra 5 inches in there.... it sounds:smokin:
