I want to see all your stinger style bumpers on your cjs I am thinking about putting one on mine but I have tubed flat fenders and would like to see how all of you have yours mounted. Would like somthing like this but conected to the fenders some way or another just lookin for ideas.

The tube fenders still need to be finished, but The stinger supports also form the main support for the tube fender. It's all completely bolt on, and the supports are flanged in front of the grill, just before the tube fenders, and then the supports round down and bolt to the frame.

The stinger and supports are bent from 1.75" Dom .120 wall tubing, and the tube fender is 1.25" Dom .188 wall. The fenders still need top plate, another support, and some paint.

It's all in the works. Thornbirds where on there when I bought it. Plans are for a 5.9L Mopar V8 swap, with a TF 727, and an Atlas II. I'll run 37" MTRs, until I can afford the 60s, and then it's 38s or bigger. It's got dana 44s f/r right now. Oh, and SOA.

I haven't reinforced the damn thing yet, but it has done a great job of hanging my wet cloths from camping and a good anchor for my hammock. I plan on cutting off the fenders and running tubing along the edge line of the hood, then reinforcing the bumper to that with another grill outline hoop to protect the radiator.
