A friend of mine just bought a power steering box for his 1993 4runner from Auto Zone for $89. I thought that was pretty cheap.

I just called the local AutoZone and they quoted me $240 + tax and another $110 core charge for the box to fit the vehicle you just mentioned.

I think your buddy got a heck of a mis-priced deal ;)

Got mine from Pick'n pull for $17 bucks:flipoff2: Only one I've ever seen there though. I missed gettin the rear axle by 5 minutes thuogh:mad: :mad3: :mad: only would have been 60 bucks

I called 3 of the 7 Auto Zones in my area and the first 2 said $239 with $110 core. The third one said $89 with $40 core and they have one in stock. I had them confirm that it was a POWER steering box and it was. :D:D:D:D
