Got the scout out of the garage for a quik snap shot today. The front is 20" narrower, a couple inches lower and about 8" shorter than before.Lost a couple pounds too but most importantly is now I can see.:D

Here's a shot of what's underneath from some point in the buildup.

Your new visibility factor looks great.

Have you considered doing a tilt front clip?

Can you narrow the grill and mount the lights back in the 'normal' position? I like though

Oh please...oh please...say cheese.

Sorry man, but the grill without headlights ruins it for me. I had the exact same idea for my crawler...meaning that I was going to keep the fenders and bring them in ~ but I was going to shorten the whole front clip/grill ~ so I can keep the headlights and have a NARROW freakin grill/radiator opening. Cooling would come from the bottom since my engine will be rearward 8"

At least it runs...more than what I can say for mine.

Ever since I was up there a couple weeks ago and saw what it was looking like, I have been trying to figure out what it looked like. That nose section reminded me of something, I just couldn't figure it out. Today, the angle of your pictures was right. Can't recall your rig having a name.... I think Warthog does it.. this kind of warthog...

So, did you break anything?

I could but it would block too much of the radiator.

Warthog... I like it. The A 10 is a extremely nimble machine unlike my scout but as far as looks go it fits.

Nope didn't break anything. I stayed away from those "go fast" events but did OK in the rocks. I'm still waiting to hear the final scores but I think I got 3rd place. Not too bad out of 150.:D

WARTHOG....huh....

Well...I like the old style sheet metal, but change can be good.

Have you ran it yet since you banged the sheetmetal? If not when are you planning on running a trail....?

Dang! From the first picture it looks freakishly tall. I am sure it is just the perspective and the very narrow front.

But - I like it, it way different. With all the time I don't have to work on my Scout I had been thinking of narrowing the body, but I hadn't considered angling it in...

In all honesty, I dig the internal work around the engine and the radiator mount.

3rd out of 150 rocks, especially for a rig that is not a tubed rock buggy!!!

A-10 is a multi use platform, strong, tough, nimble, but not terribly fast, it does fit your rig... ;)

You know, you are going to get some... *comments* when you pull it into Roundup this year. <chuckle> I am looking forward to it. I don't think you have raised the curtain on it over on the BB yet, have you? Couple of those guys are going to have a heart attack!!! ;)

I just read that I got beat out of third place. It must have been tight. Only 14 seconds between first and wherever I finished.
Haven,t put anything on the BB. They would just all whine.
Comments at roundup for sure. They'll get over it eventually.;)

Well some like it and some hate it. Most of the people that have seen it in person have at least said that they like it. I think it's better than the picture shows.
Most importantly is I like it and it's fully functional.:flipoff2:

Bastardized 1970 800A aristocrat limited edition. Drivetrain is just a buch of oversized crap I through together. 392/ 727 IH Jeep hybrid. Klune 4:1 underdrive with GM NP 205. 60f and 80R. Couple cool little things added in here and there.
The rig is not new just the front is.;)
