Probably Little E or DW's little brother. Providing they don't wreck or something. They both seem to have restrictor plate racing figured out. Hmmmm... I wonder if Big E left em his notes... :D I don't really care who wins just as long as it isn't that pissant, Gordon. :flipoff2: Cheatin on his wife. I hope she takes his ass to the cleaners. I didn't like him to begin with. Gordon = :crybaby2:

exactly what I was thinkin. Once you watch F1 and Rallye, Nascar looks like a bunch of kids down the street racing eachother in Radio Flyer red wagons.

Yeah it's archaic, but it's far more neck-and-neck competitive. F1 is addressing the issue I guess, but I don't know just saw a blurb.

WRC is my favorite, but as far as a 'plot' goes, it's non-existant. Racing against the clock.

Derr he only does NASCAR for the paychecks. This dude races and wins everything. He is my hero. Nascar one weekend USAC the next IMCA (WTF? yes even IMCA) the next SoCal sprinters the next. LOL he wins at everything.

True the only sport where racers die literally of boredom. RIP 3 :flipoff2: anyways I REALLY appreciate the 2 road races  they are hilarious but it relly shines who is a good racer and who likes to drive in circles. The cool thing about NASCAR is the level playing field you can clearly see the teams in F1 w/ $$$$$ *cough couch schumacher*** and the ones w/ little $$ It definitely is cool as hell seeing the best of the best and the people cant keep up w/ what the vehicle is capable of

Formula one is not what you thinking about. Not the driver wins, but the car with the best technique. Meanwhile the cars have automatic transmission, traction controll, box controlled remote engine management and so on ..... Its really boring, always the same teams win, most Ferrari with M. Schumacher. In Formula one they just want back to the roots by changing the rules.

I think NASCAR is much better. I like it. A car with a simple tube frame, some cover around and a BIG V8. Nothing else.

Oh stop your :crybaby2: They'd both do well to STFU and sign a divorce decree already.

Now: 1) Its gonna rain today.. it'll be either a shortened D500 today or its a Monday race. 2) While I'd prefer to see 24 win :flipoff2:, I think Jr has the car to beat. 3) It is mostly going to be a boring single file race up front, restrictor plate racing is :rainbow: 4) There will probably still be "the big one"

That's alright if you don't like him. You are entitled to your opinion. But I have been a fan since he first came in to the Cup series. He may not be the "man" that Sr. was, or Yarburough, but you cant deny that he was the first of the younger generation of kick a$$ drivers and he can drive the tires off of anything you put him in.

Gordon (Robby, that is) does enough of his own whinning. I'd be very happy if his engine let go early. He is talented, but everything is always someone elses fault. :flipoff2:

I still say it doesn't go today. The weather down here does not look promising.

I used to be into the NASCAR racing big time as a fan. Over the years it has got too politically correct and I hate all the whining. I catch myself channel surfing during the 2-1/2 minutes of commercials after 7 minutes of racing cycles and 50% of the time forget to go back to the race at the end of the commercials. With that said, I'm a Tony and Jr fan. Robby Gordon is just a whiner (so is Rusty) and mister goody two shoes Jeff Gordon I never did care for. Now WOO sprints and unlimited late models on 1/2 mile dirt tracks is real racing.

IMHO F1 is just another snooty European sport. Drivers rarely sign autographs and act like they are kings. I also think the cars have gone too hi-tech and have taken alot of the sport out of it with single wheel nuts, jacks in the cars, computer controls, and parts breaking like tooth picks. When you have crewmen standing around during pit stops, there is no excitement for me.

That's funny, I've always considered R Gordon nothing but a hazzard to the other drivers. Didn't it take him 2-3 tries to even get his NASCAR license?

so a desert racer is a little loose behind the wheel,i'll give ya that. its not like he rammed anybody on pit road or anything reckless like that.

You know, you can keep falling back on the past anger issues, but that doesn't make R Gordon a better driver. Where did R Gordon finish last year? (20th) How many races won in Winston Cup? (one)

Even Junior said he should be thrown out of NASCAR.

I'd be the first to admit someone might be a good driver in a bad car, but not him.

okay i'll quit defending r. gordon, just like him from his impressive accomplishment in baja trucks. also won't forget the time he bailed outta his indy car on fire rolling around in the grass til he was out(well done:D ), then got back in the thing and tried to get the corner workers to push start him. just like that style of racer.

would probably have the same respect for stewart if he had just given jeff gordon a right hook instead of ramming him on pit road like a big puss:crybaby: , stewart being with a good team is what got him the championship not him. IMO

He has won a championship in every series he raced in full time, even IRL.

I guess I'm just not into the dirt trucks enough to really care. If R Gordon's good at that, he should stay there! :D

I wasn't real surprised by the race yesterday. Weather was looming all day down here. It is a wonder they even got it in.
Newmans tumble was the most dramatic at Daytona in a long while. Think that Ford 9" was worth any thing after that ride?
