How easy are you wanting to do? I just got back this last week from running the White Rim trail. Must say it was by far one of the best trails I've been on at Moab. It is a two day run, but with the colors changing right now it's worth the trip. Really didn't need to take it out of 4x4 but a few times. Wish I could make it, but money won't let me.

hells starts at dump bump, pritchett off kane creek rd at a gate where you pay. you can get maps at the map shop off main street, or just ask at 4wheel of moab......brad

Unless somebody reopened it, 4 Wheel of Moab is out of business. I think Moab Offroad is still there though, just moved further out of town.

I'm plannin' on being there. I'm gunna be the top heavy ZJ in the middle of Pritchett on Saturday. A little worried about trying it open front and rear w/ a 35c rear end. Gotta at least try it--we have straps. :D

I think its not going to happen for me. I want to run Pritchet in a bad way, but I just don't have money to fix what I break right now. Hopefully later on this year I'll be back on a consistent payroll and then we can go get crazy w/ pritchett.

Cody, That sucks but I hear you. I was going to go, but i can't. School is winding down and I am way behind, my truck isn't registered, etc, etc....I guess these spur of the moment trips aren't for me. I want to hit Moab around Christmas though, school will be out of the way and I should have more stuff done on my ride.

I HATE it when you throw a rod on the way down to play. It REALLY fawks up the wheeling end of the trip. :mad3: :nuke:

yeah of all the weekends to get crap I got mine this last week. Mon night through wed stomach flu ate nothing for 2 days. Thurs get a little appetite back and snag some T-day dinner. Friday have to get a new bed my back is F-d, so my mom drags me out to go look at beds. Sat physics project all day. Sun more physics with some english paper research mixed in. and the plans for mon. yep you guessed it more physics, ground school test. Tues more physics then well get around to typing up that semester paper for english. wed physics is due, and first stage check flight (wish me luck!). Thurs-BOARDING!!!!! :D:D then some physics class:(

Sounds like a good time! The RME Board got wiped out by the A$$hole we were renting the server from. It boils down to poor service and a lack of communication on his part. I am having second thoughts about trying again, I don't have the time right now to put in getting the BBS back up and running. I loved having a local 'board and still want one, but as you know, school is a priority right now. Mabey in a few weeks I'll work on it, but it will probably be awhile. EVERYTHING is gone.

Dude, that sux about your Toy, and RME. Sounds like everyone had a bad Turkey weekend. My only casualty was my ABS, which I'm not too sad to lose. Judging from everyone's fortune, I probably would have totalled the ZJ had I run pritchett.

well!!! Watching the news this mon. morn and saw why I-15 was shut down last night in provo. Some car went across traffic and hit into a truck and was literally tore in half!!
I threw the rod not to far from home. jumped in the daily toy and away I went. ok deal down there, canceled my moab hotel :crybaby2: cuz I didn't want to drive more. Driving home I went a little to far up I-70 and it turned into a WHITE OUT!!! Well I am in 2wd cuz no front driveline and different gear ratios and well got sucked off the road. went into the snow off the side (did I mention it was knee deep in front of my truck?)ok and was stuck. Tried to push and threw down a jumper for tractiion and then the other tire would spin :rolleyes: well after a few of that hell, (FREEZING ASS COLD ) a 2ton cabover boomtruck towrig stops and I barely talk him into helping me push. We ain't pushing SQUAT!! He hooks up a line and pulls me about 6 feet up and then he ends up sliding ditchward. we pull more line and try somemore and well HE gets stuck too. (hour 1.5 into the stuck hell) Then his boss in a one ton deisel ford 4x4 comes and pulls him about 35 feet down the road sideways cuz the 2ton didn't wanna come out over a lip that was the road. well after about 15min of this the boss gets ansy (or something) and just GUNS IT. All I saw was black smoke and the rescue tow rig slide sideways into the ditch!!!! :mad: Well he ends up STUCK AS HELL also!! so they dig and fawk around for like 1.5 hours trying to get unstuck with ZERO luck. Lucky my truck was ideling and my heater was kinda working. Fingers were cold as hell and I was froze to my kneese, so I changed and waited. There flatbed came by and had a fubar car on it going the other way and they chatted for a few and we figured they were going to drop off poor fubar and come back. Well two salt trucks show up (finally[three hours in one spot and no plow trucks?] anyways the one hooks up and pulls the 2ton and starts to ALSO slide ditchward. thew stop and then plow the road right in front of all of us(decent throwing distance from me to 4x4 guy with 2ton between) end up stopping traffic and pulling us out ACROSS traffic and they pop out the 2ton, the 4x4 has barried himself at the bottom of the ditch so they RIPPED HIM OUT OF THE DITCH :flipoff2: and then pulled me out with the salt trucks and away we went. I guess since the AAA tow rig wasn't on an official call there was no charge. I gave the 2ton guy 5$ and a very gratefull thanx!!! The boss had already left to do whatever.
Oh and the motor will be replaced. Know anyone selling a truck or car with a 22r I can yank? I think My head is still good.

well sorry boys but the weather was just about perfect until sat. evening. just enough moisture on the ground to keep the dust down. cool enough for a coat. Ran Moab rim friday morning went to dinner and movie then ran prichett at night. went as for as rocker knocker then came back out. Ran Gold bar on saturday. only casualty on this trip was serpintine belt on buddies jeep. got caught in blizzard coming over summit 20 m.p.h. from price to spanish fork what a bitch.
