I may be getting a full floater housing minus the axles so i need to buy them.
Anyone had any experience with them?

no they may be neat, but using a sj411 backingplate is just as good=cheap! But if i got the houusing for free, I would use it!:smokin:

I think the sj410 trick was more for ease of axel changes, the full floater would be helpfull for flat towing:D that sound right?

I'm wondering why someone would sell a rear full-floater without it's axles? What good would just the axles be to them?

Having a rear full-floating axle assembly offers advantages besides being able to flat tow easier:
1.Eliminate pressure on bearings/seals that causes leaks.
2.Ready to go to rear disc brakes - no more friggin' Drums:barf:
3.You can get Very Stong axle shafts - the axles are argueably the weakest link in the stock Samurai rear end. You can get alloy axles that a 1.3L should Never be able to break, and 'if' you did, you could unlock that side & limp back to camp.
4.Rig w/ rear locking hubs = kewel:grinpimp:

Why in the Hell would you want to even mess with Suzuki axles? I've seen the Spidertrax stuff and I can't imagine why you would spend the money or the time and still have a WEAK set of axles. Yes there better than before but come awnn.

I've seen Eddie hammer his stuff more than a few times, and he's never had any problems with the rear FF

...now the Front End on the other hand...

BTW He runs 33's ('Wo out Boggers)
