has any one had any problem with spitting and spudering when you get in high altitude being in washingtion we have lots on mountains to go up and was just wondering have to put them in still have three to do one in my dads 8v rig one in my pavement punder 16v and my twister 16v

and with running the 1.6 8v and 31" tires will my dad need to get the 4.16 to be able drive it on the street mostley his off roading is is logging roads

I run atracker 1.6 engine and trans,with a 1.3 carb works great.........:D

i've got a 1.6 16v from a 95....can't be beat....runs sideways and upside down too :D

I also have '95 16v I hope to get it together with a bunch of new stuff:D

I have a 96 16v in mine.

So...newnie question here.
Can I use intake and exhaust from a 1.3 on a 1.6 ????:rasta:

why would you want to? You are changing out to a bigger motor for more power and then you want to rob it of power....:rainbow:

I was rereading these posts desperatly looking for something .anything of interest .The only thing I found was my own mistake.I have a '97 1.6,16v,obd2, and the wire loom off the engine is scary.Anybody had any luck wiring one of these?:confused:

I used the 96 motor, which had the same one, but got a 93 harness and a 95 distributer....this made it much easier:D
