Do you have a kit than can put the low range section on the back of a SM465? I want to use that in front of a Land Rover LT230. Also how about custom splines like an output from the Toy low range box into the LT230. It is 10 spline with a 1.170 OD.
Thanks

OUCH! Just called AA & they said they will have the 5.7 gears available in 3 weeks (PN# 457021 for 21 spline & 457023 for 23 spline) when the custom bearings come in, SAME PRICE... but the 5.7 gears are already cut & ready to go. You going to do the same deal on those as the 5.0's?

Just talked to AA myself. They have not nailed down a price yet because they have yet to find a supplier for the right bearings. (which may also effect how soon these gears are available) I expect that the setup will cost a bit more for that reason, but we will have to wait and see!

The tech I talked to gave me the same Jobber $$ for the 457021 as the 450021, as well as the 23 spline numbers...

Shoot....now that I need one the price is back up.
Any ideas as to when the next sale will be?
Have the prices on the 5.7 gears been set yet?

inchworm do you think that the 5.7 gear will be as strong as the 4.7 gear, that is a lot of grinding the t-case is getting thin.

That will depend somewhat on which gears they have decided to change and how much. I haven't seen the gears yet, so I don't know where they have changed size, however, I only take about .020"out to clear 4.7s so I am not too concerned about the thickness of the case.
