Whats the difference between front Dodge Dana 60 to front Chevy/GM Dana 60?

dodge and chev front 60's share the spring spacing so they can be swapped, the chev differential is a little furthur inboard (so I am told) so maybe clears the frame better. whatever one you get cheap is the right one for you.

I've heard of some Dodges being made in Mexico using inferior metalurgy and bending and breaking knuckles more. I'm not sure if there's anything to it. Otherwise, not much.

Ive been told the Dodge 60 is narrower than a GM, from several sources.

The flange to flange is narrower and so is the spring pads.

I dont know first hand, its just what Ive been told.
