: wms-wms of a D80 in a '98 2500 FULLSIZE 03-01-2003, 08:47 PM my brother smoked the housing in his D80. the pinion bearing ran dry and spun the race chewing into the housing, so i need to see how wide it is so i can source a complete junkyard axle til he gets the cash for a replacement housing. i know jack it up, take the wheels off and measure it but its outta town and i'm to busy with all my other junk. anyone know?:D GRMhick 03-01-2003, 10:43 PM nope, but watch out for the speed sensor in the rear axle in case you are thinking of swapping to a different axle.
