im putting a 9" out of a 73 bronco with 4.11s detroit locker 31 spline dutchman shafts and rear disc conversion on the back of my s10 and i got it all together i just gotta figure out what to do about the driveshaft. the yoke on the 9 takes a smaller u joint than what is on my s10 driveshaft and i want to use the joint on the s10 shaft so i can carry less spares and have a bigger joint. where can i find a yoke that takes the s10 joint? i dont even know what size the joint is... where can i find that?? yeah im a newbie :flipoff2:

You are probably looking for a 1330 style yoke. There were 1310 and 1330 yokes available for the nine inch. I got a 1330 from a fullsize bronco nine inch. The car nine inches are probably the 1310 style.

how hard is it to change the yoke? ive never done it before... is it gonna mess with gear backlash to pull the pinion nut off and slide the yoke off?

i just throw it on :flipoff2: proly not the right way...
