need to ask some dumb questions here for a minute i need to get a little more angle out of my stock fj40 driveshafts is there a way todo this without having to buy a high angle shaft , like can i just buy the yokes that have more clearance or something along those lines ?

Fire up your diegrinder and grind out a little of the yoke until it clears. I would not get to caried away doing this but it will work just fine.

Not positive but maybe somebody can help me out here.
I think you can use a mini truck shaft. They have the same bolt pattern and have alot more angle.
Again I am not 100% on this but I think its the way it goes.

i thought the mini truck shafts were smaller bolt pattern does anyone know for sure?

I know some years of the pickup are the same bolt pattern as the early cruiser driveshafts. Last year I needed to hook up one of my spare shafts to a pickup. I am thinking pre 90's or early 90's
