So I've read about the Art Carr shifter, but never seen one in person, let alone actually used one.

What makes it so badass?

Bringing this one back from the dead. I had a megashifter, and while it is all apart thinking about going with the Art Carr. Snoopy had a pic of one in another thread installed, but I would want mine mounted much higher and a bit back of the rear of the trans tunnel cover. I am guessing that mounting it like that with a tuffy center console is a no go. Has anyone mounted one with a center console between the seats? Pics of Art Carr shifters installed would be great

They make one heck of a shifter in any pattern you like for all transmissions.

I am looking into that one from performance as well. OS if you wander in, Does that T handle in the turbo action have some kind of a lock out on it? I kind of like the T over the knob on the Art Carr. I still can't find a pic of the Winters version, or their website.

I had the B&M MegaShifter in my Scout when I still had an auto. I hated it. The little pin with the set screw that dropped in the notch kept breaking. I finally just relaced it with a bolt and had ratchet only. What a pita!:flipoff2:
