Has anyone converted an early Buick 225 V6 to breakerless ignition? Can it even be done?

YES.....Just find an HEI distributer off a 231 odd fire v6 from a "76 Buick, poniac or other GM car.....
The only mod is a little bit of grinding on the intake manifold for clearance.....Here is a write up that I used
www.off-road.com/jeepster/nxup2.num
sht it's not there no more....if you want I have a hard copy I can scan........It's realy simple though....the cost is about $30 if you get the plug wires with the distributer...

You can also get a conversion kit made by Pertronix. It bolts
right into the stock Delco distributor. There is nothing external.
It all fits inside the distributor.

Appreciate the info . . . I'm trying to expand my horizons beyond the Jeep I6 and Ford small block world.
