TxScout 03-05-2003, 10:11 AM Maybe the owner got tired of all the sly remarks about the traction bars?

uglyscout 03-05-2003, 10:29 AM I think that Z-link belongs in the hall of shame.... :D
Maybe the whole truck!!
snoop dogg 03-05-2003, 10:42 AM torch off all the traction bars/subrame looking thing...make a REAL traction bar, yes only one. Get some hysteer arms to get rid of that ugly ugly z link, it's not that it wouldn't work...but it's hideous:barf: Take out the 3 in body lift, maybe cut em' in half...either way, get cuttin' on the body. and go beat the body up on some trails...thats still not a bad price tag for that, you know it has been maintained, and the motor only has 55k. But do you really need 2 shocks on each corner? i think one will suffice, heck i ran NO shocks in the rear for a while...no probs.
Sully 03-05-2003, 10:50 AM If I had the money I'd buy that thing and run it off a cliff just cuz I'm sick of seeing pictures of it.
Whoever put that together needs to get kicked in the nuts.
Buddha's Ghost 03-05-2003, 11:18 AM How many times is that thing gonna' be on ebay for sale?
Nobody hard up enough to buy it?

Man, that's nothing compared to the mother of all Z-links posted on the Rover board a while back.

WireGeek 03-05-2003, 02:51 PM Granted, it probably has never even seen grass, much less knowing what a ROCK is!
But as he said, it has been in shows and is probably a decent mall cruzer...if ya dont mind the bump steer!
Wait a minute...with 2 shocks per corner and those bling stabilizers, he probably doesnt get much bump steer! Just the bumps!

I'd be embarrassed to take it to the mall, let alone a show with that jungle-gym of bars underneath it. There's more tubing down there than in most full-tube buggies!
Chad H 03-05-2003, 06:11 PM Damn, if its not rusted out and banged all to hell ya'll freak out !
Its not THAt bad!

Yeah - it's that bad!!! Look at that thing!! 38's on D44's??? The jungle gym suspension???
Sure the body is sweet and it has some cool interior mods, but what the heck would you use it for?? My trail tractor makes a better grocery getter than that thing would :D
TravisSSII 03-06-2003, 02:19 PM All that........and stock shackles...with sway bar? Why?
slipscomb 03-06-2003, 11:23 PM saw that thing on scarrysteering.com

The Rockslut 03-08-2003, 09:51 AM The traction bars and Z link are classic but i cant get over the pinion angle and custom front lift blocks

Yeah, purty, and fancy like mine!!!! Heck, I figure mine must be worth about 20K or so, seeing as it is famous and all... and trail tested.. :D :D :D
Speaking of fancy, reminds me, I gotta swing by your place and hose your pickup/trailer off.....
Find any cool toys at Puyallup?
Binder 03-10-2003, 05:43 PM Speaking of padding this is 10 and now I can change my profile.
Don't wory bout the trailer it's not that dirty.
No good toys at the meet. Only bought a couple videos and BS'd with a few people.:)
