I'm getting a vacumm disconeect dana 30 for free. Figure i weld it. Now its a daily drive and was wondering if i would notice it on the street? how does this work.

There is no difference on the street. The only thing different is the front drive shaft turns but you won't notice that. I've had mine welded for over a year and I love it. You will need a manual disconnect for the axle though or steering in 4wheel drive will be tough. I bought a manual vacuum switch from DownEast Offroad, it works great and gives me 3 or 4wd.
