Springs off of 3/4 and 1 ton trucks might be longer, but wouldn't flex worth crap. There is some good info there. I was thinking about putting rear chevy half ton springs in the front of my blazer and moving the spring mounts forward. Might have to play with the spring pack so that its not to stiff. How well do you guys think that will work? The front of the truck is way heavier than the back and it put the half ton springs into a negative arch and gave me about 2 inches of lift. I used springs out of a half ton chevy van so it kept te axle in stock location because the centering pin is offset at 24x26 at 52" total length. Fabbed up new front spring hangers with 3.5" heavy wall square tubing and mounted it with the holes in the frame from the body mounts. Worked good except the spring rate was way too low.
