He made it to Louisville on what gas he had...barely. His boss didn't deposit the $$ yesterday because there is another bad storm in CT blah blah blah. He's supposed to do it first thing this morning. I told Hef to call and let me know. I gave him the phone numbers of the people that PM'ed me theirs just in case. I'll update you whenever he calls me. :roxy:

Ok..Hef update. His boss deposited his money today so he's good to go! He said to say thanks to everyone for offering to help! He just came back from wheeling. Translation:probably dirt roads :D But he did remember to use 4Lo and to air down. It seems that having to buy a new clutch and replace it at TDS has taught him a lesson! :roxy:

No he didn't, but then again, they don't have rocks in CT.

Well...he knew it was there but didn't feel he had a use for it. I've already told him he will NEVER live that down! ;) :roxy:

He aparently never had to use 4Lo at home, and didn't know that after a LONG hill climb smacks you the 3rd or 4th time, you can use 4 Lo and walk up it...
He did a lot of bouncing too, going too fast...

I think he had the impression from the hard-core guys here that 4Lo was for climbing 4 foot boulders, not just all around trail use.

True, he may never live it down. But I'm sure the cost and PITA of changing his clutch will make him never forget in the future. We all had to learn the hard way, some harder than others.

I spoke with him a couple hours ago.

He has his money.

He's not going back to work for that dumbass.

He's still in Louisville, but will be traveling here to Cleveland tomorrow.

He's buying me beer.

I'm letting him sleep on an air mattress in our mostly un-heated upstairs.

He's going to lend me a hand in my rear-corner panel installation article. But judging from his 'wheeling experience' he may just be handing me tools and beer. :flipoff2:
