got them in and working,more trouble then i thought, but thats seems to be the case with most things jeep related...
man it was a tight fit getting them both in there!, but now i have about 1600 cold cranking amps and don't have to worry about killing the batt while winching, it's also nice to have the jeep turn over at 1200RPM in -45*C mornings!

i cut and modified the stock tray, then i added the one i made and reinforced the stock one to cope with the added stress of 2.

I would be a little worried about the hold down strap on the inner battery. They normally run the other direction, so that if it comes loose, it will not touch both battery terminals and cause a fire.

Robert, i tried to run it the other way, but it was not possible, due to the tight location, i did however think of what you just mentioned and as a precaution i dumped a bunce of liquid electrical tape onto the tie down strap near each terminal, i think i may also add some lock washers to the bolts holding it down, so it's less likely for them to loosen. Good point tho!
