vice grips huh?i was also wondering how much of a pain would it be to do one at a time,meaning loosening one at a time.

Do one at a time?? One pack??? For me...probably about 30 minutes...from start to finish....but I have also done it multiple times (quite a few lately).

I assume you know the basic steps before the ones below...
Pull your u-bolts
c-clamp the spring pack together....might wanna use 2 clamps...one on each side of the pin
pull then pin
swap blocks (does the pin go through these?? I have never run or seen blocks up close)
reinsert pin, tighten
put on u-bolts ....etc.

Should be easy and painless....
