: Brake MC "swapability"

Another noticed junkyard thing.....

All the GM, and some of the Fords, seem to use the same size flange for mounting the MC to the power brake booster.....

Does all this Sheaaat just bolt up? I would venture that the rods are somewhat different, but nothing some fabbing would solve....

So you could just bolt a 4 disc MC to an originally disc/drum set, right? Or, use a high volume MC to increase brake fluid capacity.

There were all sizes of MC out there, but they all seem to have the same flange....

So, how interchangable is this stuff?

thanx
