I have a late 99 PSD 6 speed that I recently installed the Banks Stinger Plus on. I had a chance to tow about 7.5K lbs. with it and I am less than impressed with the Banks.
I am curious what others are experiencing. I only saw 14 PSI boost max (typically 10) and watched the pyro climb pretty rapidly and peaking at about 1350*. I was towing at about 6-7K feet altitude.
What are the rest of you seeing?

OK, after driving this thing with a load and thinking what a fawkin pooch, I finally decided to recheck my install. I found I had left a hose clamp loose at one of the hoses going into the engine! Now the biatch is making well over 20 PSI and the EGT's are down about 400* Not to mention that gawd awful whooshing noise is gone.:D

I love it when I figure things out :flipoff2:

IMHO,

Banks products are overpriced. They make good stuff, but you don't get the HP bang for the buck. Many other alternatives that are better IMHO.
