Does anyone have an idea as to how much it would cost to ship a dirt bike helmet to Scotland, and what other difficulties might there be with international shipping?

They don't allow motorcycles in Scotland. So why would someone need a helmet? Can't ride em with a dress on. :flipoff2:

I thought they solved that problem by putting the pegs on one side? :flipoff2:

My 2 yr. old has this neat game where you put different shaped pegs on a plastic bucket that lights up and makes sound when you put the right one in... She loves that game :)

No way! I used to have that one when I was little! Then we had the other one with the plastic hammer and wrench that you pounder the "nails" into the bench and screwed the bolts into. I somehow managed to pound a nail into the threaded hole and screwed it all up. :D

I don't know if I had one of those toys or not, but I did get my first car at 12. I learned how to mess up threaded fasteners very quickly.

Peace,
Paul

Oh yeah, this thread may return to discussions of shipping motorcycle helmets to Scotland

Have you ever seen the little workbench that plugs in to the computer, and when the kids hammer the nail, or turn the screw, it shows it on the little computer game? I thought that would be cool for my kid!

:D

I had that same little bench. Then one day, my dad gave me a little coping saw to play with some scrap wood, and I cut my bench all to pieces. I was bound to be a shadetree mechanic from day one!:D I also took an old washing machine completely apart when I was about 11 or so using only a flathead screwdrive, a hammer, and a pair of slip-joint pliers. Dad was impressed!:flipoff2:

What was this thread originally about anyway? I thought only sissies wore helmets.:D But then again, it doesn't get any more girlie than riding around in a plaid skirt!:flipoff2:

It figures they would turn a fun game into a TV related one. Next it will come out on X-box and you won't even need the workbench!

Oh yeah, and Penny: :flipoff2: This is what you get for leaving and not stopping by here anymore. :D

That's nothing, they're still sissies! You should see my aunt Gloria when she's been hittin' the moonshine. One time when she was all liquored up, she saw that the bull had gotten into the wrong pasture and was trying to get it on with one of the heifers. She got up, walked over there, knocked that bastard out with one punch, then proceeded to pick him up and throw him back over the fence. Silly scotts, sittin' around playin with their poles when they need to get to work designing some clothes that don't look so :rainbow:!:flipoff2:

Caber tossing is actually pretty mild compared to some of the other stuff. Check out hurling, hammer throws, and hay pitching.

Yeah, I don't know how all those :rainbow:s drink 'em. I guess after you've sucked enough cack, taste isn't really an issue anymore. They can have all the Zimas they want, I'll stick to my Everclear and Sprite.
