On my way to the Rubicon I got to take a look at the pave jod they are doing on the dirt section going past Uncle Toms and I would have to say they are building one hell of a freeway! The road is supposed to be open on the 30th but will be covered in snow I would guess. I can't wait to start going this way again.

It will make a better snow run than morman emigrant, Tom's half way and Rob's on the way out. How could it get any better (unless) Rob's closes all winter, then we'll just have to turn around and go back to Tom's........Snow RUN's are a fawkin Blast....

I drove the whole thing from Icehouse to Cool, looks nice, glad i did, caus some dude logging with his family in his F350 blew a front main seal on his auto. I had 8 QTS of ATF.
But back to the road, yeah it looks great up to uncle toms, then is unpaved for a hell of a long time, like 12miles rough tore up road. but once it it done it will be a nice rout to the con  :usa: :rasta:

I am pretty sure the phase1 part was paving what was dirt and phase2 is from the dam all the way up to phase1.
It will be nice to go to Uncle Toms cabin again because they have some bitchen mixed drinks and a phone if you need one:flipoff2:
This route was one of are clubs favorite snow run areas so we will be up there for sure once the snow comes down.

It will be nice once that road is finished. Snow runs that way are the best.
