I was looking tonight at the extra set of leafs springs out of my xcab s-10 and the rear springs on my 71 K5 and the thought of swapping them when I did my shakle flip came to mind.
Does anyone know the difference in springs rates? anyone ever seen this done? Only reason I think of it is the ones on the truck now are 32 yrs old and look it. and Hoping to get more flex out of the s-10 springs.

the s10 springs are about 1" longer so they will fit it's just a matter of load capacity.

If the center pin is in the right location they should give you a better shakle angle being 1" longer.
