Jet 03-12-2003, 09:40 AM This may seem to be a dumb question, but I'm Scout stupid. So it's a familiar story. Man owes me money. Man has no money. Man has old 4x4 in yard. So in a couple days I have another old 4x4 in my yard, and no money. I haven't seen it yet. So my stupid question is this: What would the likely components be in a 1976 Scout II with a factory 345 V8, auto I think. gear ratios? t-case? Turns out it has a 4spd. Is there any visible differences between a 304 and a 345.
