That flatbed is sweeet. If your really looking for longer shocks but not wanting to buy zillion dollar units from racerunner etc. Bilstein has some around 2 inches longer than a 9012 for around $ 60 dollars. I bought some and the quality looks to be very good, but until my rig actually moves, I cant tell ya how they work!

They arent, and although the feel stiff as hell messing around with them, the toy guys run two, so Im hoping one will be about right for a sami. They have adjustable ones for more $, but they are still way cheaper than the other high zoot stuff. They look very "fast and furious"

Yeah... I went to the ARO site (domo arigato, Bobaki-san)

They say the Bil's got some sort of auto-adjusting system - kewel.
I can max out my 9012's - I should have plenty of travel for my needs, but it's always good to know what the alternatives are.:D

I will take my new set-up to Las Cruces and see how well it does:grinpimp:

Just tilt your rear shocks in at a 45*....the tire has to move 2" for the shock to move 1".............you wont exceed that.

Yeah, considered that....maybe if what I got doesn't suit me, I may go that way. I had my elcheapo shocks set up that way B.S. (before sawzall) but the leverage on the shocks made the rig ride as if it didn't have any shocks on there at all.
If droop 6" below the rocker panel w/ 36's isn't enough, I oughtta have my head examined anyway -:smokin:

Sorry, not THAT exotic...:)
It's only a track-bar (single upper link .25 ellipt.)

How about this:

Try putting a cross member above you axle with shock studs there...Turn those babys in! I have 9012's on the back and it is a pretty good set up!

Bilstiens,Kings,Fox or Inboard you rears. lay em in at about a 45*, every inch of suspension travle will only give you about a 1/2 of travle at the shock. However Bilstiens are trick.:)
