alright how hard will it be to get gm drive lines to hook up to a jeep D60. Im looking to be putting a 500+hp in my luv and would like to run whith 1 ton running gear, and jeep axles are the width i need. Ill probly be running a th350trans and an np205 t-case.

Your problem won't be with hooking the axles to the t-case,it will be with the TH350 living behind that much power.:nuke:

Anyway,I think that the chevy D60 yolks will fit the Jeep D60.The Jeep D60 maybee the same already, not sure but I would think they are.

so should i go for a 400 trans then. And will these hook up behind the same t-case.

Yes a th400 is much stronger and will hook up to a np205. However the 400/205 combo was slightly rare and vary much desired so the adapters are in demand. I dont know how long a 350/205 combo is but the 400/205 combo is fairly long for a heep. Adapting the the drivelines shouldnt be a problem because the ujoints are fairly standardized. ALL chevy 205s are passenger side drops which can be a problem in the heep world. Is your front axle passenger or drivers side diff?

Edit: on the 400s there are 2 bolt patterns for the adapter interface(I think). The more common is a 6 bolt round pattern which is 32spline, the 32spline shafts came in a long and short version. AA may be able to give you more info, their prices are high but their advice is free.

well first off its not going into a heep, its going in my 80 LUV.
Right now its still in the consept stages i have the cash for it im just getting as much info as i can before i buy anything. If the jeep axles ar LH drop what other 1ton axles are that are close to the same width and still RH drop?

You could just run all Chevy.Find a 1 ton truck for parts and swap everything. This way you know it will work together. Not sure how wide the Jeep 60s are but I am sure they are close to the Chevy 60s single wheel.Blazin:D

My dana spicer book doesnt even list a front 60 for a heep. Hope your planning a 44 for the front. :flipoff2:

they would be aftermarket....
And i think they would be chaeper than cutting down gm axles.
