Ok....need to get more air flowing under the hood for the simple fact that the average temperature in Manama, Bahrain is about 120 degrees <IMG SRC="smilies/skull.gif" border="0"> in the Spring/Summer.

Since Fall/Winter is rolling around I figured this would be a good time to install an Electric Fan since I won't sweat my Nads off.

Anyway....what is out there other then Flex-A-Lite? Anyone got any better opinions/conversions? <IMG SRC="smilies/confused.gif" border="0">

Thanks.... <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Try a 6-blade stainless steel fan; back off the advance a little; try Jeg's or Summit for electric fans; add a little water wetter;
good luck.

Do a search here for 'spal' .... this has been convered twice this past week. Once on the Jeep forum and once on the General 4x4 discussion forum.

Also, a 1" body lift will allow more air to flow around your engine comparment.

I read the one for the CJ application yesterday which is why I posted it for the YJ to see if there was a major difference. Will do another search and see what I can find but thanks for the info regardless.

Later bro...

Use a elec. fan off a ford torus with a six in it or t-bird that is supercharged. These fans have to speeds, on hi they will out pull anything you can buy from summit or jegs.If you can not find one where your at have someone go to pick n pull and get you one (25.00) and have it shiped to you. That would be alot cheaper that one of the before mentioned stores.
