Tim,

I have a '94 to do in a few weeks. I'm going to set it up initially with stock Wrangler springs to determine brackets, then use whatever lift springs necessary to get some height out of it. I'm going to use waggy dana 44's and an earlier S-10 transfer case (owner doesn't want push-button 4wd).

you might want to check out S10-4x4.org and search about the info on there. there is a TON of stuff about s10 SAS on there.

I am running a combination of Stage west springs, without the main leaf (my main leaf is out of a 79 Z28) and an add a leaf built by a local spring shop. The stage west springs were some sort of off the shelf RE spring, at least the ones they sent me had an RE P/N on them, it flexs ah-ight
:flipoff2:
this is before I did my fullwidth 3/4T axle swap, those are 33s its on hummas with 36's now

This sounds like your best bet. EDIT: Your other option is to use axles out of a first gen Bronco. Only 1 1/2" narrower, set up for coils already, and a huge aftermarket.

Unfortunatly, there aren't many write ups on this subject that I know of. We (www.s10-4x4.org) have tons of tech on it, alot of pics in the pics section, but we don't have the server yet to host the write ups and other articles that we would like to have.

One more reason we need to hurry and get the software/server issues worked out.

Ok guys I read some of the S-10 boards now where do i go for "tech" info on spring combos. Also the truck has a "push buttom" on the dash for 4wd....is it vacume or electrical activated? If electric is there a way to 'fool' the x-case into thinking the IFS diff. is there?:D

the line that engages/disengages the IFS diff is vaccum. you can just plug the line and be ok with it when u swap in the solid front axle or if your DANA 30 has that vacum disconnect i think you can hook it up to it.

I think Mark put a link on the s10-4x4.org site somewhere with spring rate info.

Springs are springs... You can get that tech here too.
