Ok, I was looking at the shackles in the rear on my f 150, and from what I was seeing it got me to thinking. Could you cut off the current hangers, weld some new ones on under the chassis (like they are on a yota) and move the spring mounts over on the axle? Would this work, or am I just thinking obsurd things?

Do a search on this, it was just covered in good depth and with good pics not too long ago. Yes it will work, and yes it will flex like mad........

sorry, I thought that pic would show it better, flexes decent w/ the shakle flip, but I need to rid the add a leaf and overload then install missing links and she'll be good to go. Originally I had blocks w/too much axle wrap so this new setup helped some but I still need to build a traction bar
