My adventures at the dirving range yesterday were interesting to say the least. :shaking: After two years of neglect my back swing is weak, I rotate my hips too much, I can't seem to keep my head down and I'm rotating my wrists. Will someone shoot me please?! Golf has got to be the most frustrating sport!! Oh well, at least I know what I'm doing wrong :D

Rotating my wrists on my down swing is skewing my ball WAAAAAAAAAAY off course!! I think hip rotation is a good thing too but when I come down on the ball I'm off a good 2 inches. Advice?

BTW, which clubs did you buy?

actually they were my x-mas gift from my dad.

it was his way of saying "like it or not we are playing alot of golf together this summer"

he hooked me up with that set the Dicks had on sale around x-mas for 2 bills.

graphite shafts are interesting.

these nicer clubs amplify all my issues. all of the sudden im pushing everything away from me. albiet very consistantly.

Sorry about the pic. I was too lazy to resize it.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I have played golf. It moves to slow to keep my interest.

I never said I was good. I understand the mechanics of it, and that it is challenging, but I prefer a little more action. Now, If they had a time limit on each hole, and made it full contact, then it would be sweet.:D

Ya...sucks when you only hit the ball a few yards and have to walk everywhere. I would imagine that would get boring :p :p

That would be alright (if I drank beer), but I would be looking for someone to race and forget about golf.

I love that game! But I always tend to suck at it after 15 beers? :D Try the Tiger Woods PS2 game. It might actually be better than Golden Tee. Later, gotta go get the clubs out of the basement.

You should have moved here when you had the chance.
We golf all year long.

It's really tragic in the winter when it rains a lot, can't use the carts when the ground is so wet and we have to walk:mad: .
Christmas morning is really $hitty too.Nobody works that day so we usually go to the best courses for free but the beer huts are never open:mad: ,can't get a freakin hot dog half way through the round.

I tried, My G-pa was VERY into golf, he bought me some nice clubs and everything (playing with rand handed clubs when your left handed SUXS!) so after we found some of the $$$$$$$$$$$ left handed clubs, i tired for about 1 1/2 years and gave up, i sucked
