On your standard run of the mill Chevy 350 V8, what is the outside diameter of the oil dipstick tube?

How long?

Is there a difference between the "old" V8s vs the TBI vs the vortec?

Any information would be GREATLY appreciated. I'm close to firing my engine up and I fawked my dipstick tube up:mad: :mad:

They are all the same OD, but different lengths. Grab one out of any small block and after you've run it with the right amount of oil in it just mark the new stick to be sure.
